15 Weeks

Today we have reached 15 weeks. According to "The Bump:"
Continuing the march towards normal proportions, baby's legs now out measure the arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Your fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably still can't feel the movements.

I can't feel anything- everyone keeps telling me it will feel like butterflies. I don't really know what this means but I guess I'll figure it out if I feel it.

Ryan and I are still debating whether or not to find out the sex. Ryan wants to, I don't. Decisions, decisions.

Other than that I feel good. I have had a lot more energy these past few weeks, still don't really like the taste of meat (especially chicken), and there is no baby bump to report (although a bitchy co-worker of mine told me I look pregnant today. Yes the same lady who told me I gained weight this summer. I can't work in these conditions).

This orange is kind of making me hungry.....

  1. I don't think I felt O until closer to 20 weeks (though in hindsight I may have felt her sooner and just thought it was gas) and it didn't feel like butterflies to me. I thought it felt like someone was flicking me from the inside.

Don't find out! I don't want to find out on the next one but John does. We have some friends that just had a baby yesterday and they said it was so fun waiting to be surprised!

  2. I’m so lucky to have had it easy thus far and we hope everything continues to go well for the second half. I won’t bore you with every single milestone and detail, but I did start feeling little flutters of movement a week and a half ago. When I first felt it I told Bryan, “Um, I think I feel the baby. But really, I have no idea if that’s what this is.” My parents came over later that night and I described the feeling to my mom. She started jumping up and down and yelling, “Oh my gosh, that was the baby! You felt the baby!” And then I started jumping up and down and my dad and Bryan looked at us like we were crazy. Whatever, they’re just jealous.
... just copying and pasting another blog.. Maybe it's best if I never go off track until after the baby is born.. I don't even know who in the hell this blog is.. somehow I just get to them from your blog,, but I don't know.. it's reassuring to me that all feelings are universal.. Two and a half more weeks and I'll be back at work.. hold on until then ! xoxo Moma Ann

  4. I am on team FIND OUT. But I won't bug you too much about it. I will however, just tell you to go look at clothes and stuff. You can get away with jungle, or many other themes for the room. But when I started looking (recently for a friend), there isn't a whole lot for clothes. Just a few items with yellow ducks and eh. Ok...that's my thoughts. But then again, I'm also waaaaayyy to impatient to not find out. I would say that labor and delivery is still the most amazing and exciting thing you will ever see even if you know if it is a he or she.
