We are officially in the 8th month. Only one more fruit to go!
This month we are the honeydew:
According to The Bump:
Baby’s senses are continuing to improve -- when light peeks in through your (extremely) stretched belly, those tiny eyelids and irises blink and dilate. And, baby can now recognize and react to simple songs… time to start practicing your lullabies! Growth (at least inside your womb) is starting to slow, and you may notice baby descend into your pelvis at the end of this month.
Everything is still going pretty smooth! Sleeping is hit or miss and I did experience my first pregnancy heartburn Saturday night (maybe it was all those shower cupcakes?) but other than that we are cruising along. We have our maternity tour at the hospital this week, so I really feel like this is coming up SOON. So for the next 7 weeks I plan to perfect this nursery, wash the MILLIONS of outfits we have, clean the house (or hire someone), have the carpets cleaned, and enjoy my nap times. I am so excited for him to come, but I know that I will miss some of this pregnancy time, especially when I feel him moving.
Only 47 days to go!
