After my New Year's resolution post, my friend emailed me about what her family does for their resolutions. Laura explained that she and her mom and sister think of a single word for the upcoming year. For example, she explained that her sister picked the word "movement" for 2012, and within that year received a promotion and found out she was expecting.
Don't you just love this idea? So much better then losing xx pounds, working out 7 days a week, etc. Laura also mentioned that it is a good idea to think about the word often and it helps make sense of your year.
I am going to think about my word this weekend and give you the big reveal on Monday. But what would your motto for 2013 be? Please share!! And thank you to Laura for the great idea!
