Yes, I am in my workout clothes, and no I didn't just workout. Those yoga pants are just so comfy. And this Lululemon top is a must for the growing belly!
How far along: 25 weeks. He's beginning to exchange his long, lean look for some baby fat. As he does, his wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and he'll start to look more and more like a newborn. He's also growing more hair!
How big is baby: A rutabaga- 13 1/2 inches and about a pound and a half!
Sleep: Fine- didn't sleep well last night but I think that is because I am in the middle of the book Wild and Anna Karenina and I was thinking about them both!
Diet/Cravings/Aversions: Nothing new! I love chewing on ice. I guess that is a little weird.
Exercise: Still lots of yoga. Saturday morning's class was hot and hard, which clearly resulted in a nap when I returned home. Everyone asks me how long I am going to keep practicing. As long as I can! Or until I can't see my toes.
Gender: BOY!!
Movement: Lots
of movement continues! I feel like this baby moves much more than Paul did, but I probably just don't remember. It is odd how you can block out entire months of your life. This most likely occurs so people will procreate more than once.
Worries: Nothing crazy. We went to dinner at our neighbor's house this weekend and they were discussing their relatives with peanut allergies. So on my list of "things I hope the baby doesn't have," I guess I'll add allergies to the list.
What I'm loving: This weekend was cooler, and I was getting exited for fall weather, but Paul and I were just outside and it is HOT today.
Symptoms: Heartburn. Not a ton, but last night I noticed this little symptom. I don't remember any heartburn with Paul and there is an urban legend that says heartburn indicates lots of hair on the new baby. Paul was born a baldy, so maybe this little dude will have some locks we can style?
What I'm looking forward to: A mountain trip this weekend, BBQ with friends, and spending the day with my favorite 2 year old.
