Coffee Tables

I am in the market for a new coffee table. I was thinking these trunks might be fun. Thoughts?

  1. I have been stalking your blog for a while... your son is a cutie! Those are awesome coffee tables, but honestly, as soon as paul starts crawling/pulling up/walking/running and FALLING, you will want them out. No matter how awesome they are (ask my husband, I threw a fit and bought a new table for our family room and 3 months later made him lug it to the basement....)

  2. Love the thought of the trunk. Extra storage plus wood which is nicer with kids. Now I want one.

  4. @ George Family- good point. I guess my decorating style will have to change a bit with a mobile baby. Darn it!!! :)

@Tina- I still want one. Where can I put it where it won't endanger my child? Maybe I can just but it in the garage and visit it from time to time! :)

  5. Just get those rubber corner things for when they pull up and pick the table/trunk you want now! OR get a faux leather ottoman- pull up problem solved! AFW has some great ones!

  6. I love this look but think it might be a bit tricky .. every time you want something or to put something in.. you have to take everything off the trunk and then open it..

  7. AND... just a little side note.. G Pops is on a break from taking pictures of the most beautiful baby in the world.. that means THREE weeks without documentation of .. let me repeat... THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BABY IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD.. I'm so so sorry .. his research world.. took priority.. really is that more important then a photo shoot? in some ways I think it's for the best. small Paul was starting to get a kink in his neck... leaning around trying to see who was behind the camera.... but hang on everyone.. just ya wait.. Christmas.. is just around the corner.. xoxo GG
