Baby Bump- 27 Weeks!

How far along: 27 weeks.  He is sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing his eyes, and perhaps even sucking his fingers.  The baby's brain is very active now!

How big is baby: Almost 2 pounds, like the head of cauliflower and is about 14 1/2 inches long with legs extended!
Sleep: It's okay.  I woke up in the middle of the night a lot this week, and when I could sleep in, I woke up at 7:00 on the dot both days.  I have a whole pillow situation that makes me feel comfortable and that Ryan makes fun of.

Diet/Cravings/Aversions: I don't like guacamole.  Which is real weird, since when I am not pregnant, I live for the lime juice, avocado, tomato concoction.  And I am craving beer.  There.  I said it.
Exercise: Yoga, yoga, yoga.  Still feeling good while practicing and I gave myself a little goal of how many classes I wanted to take before the baby gets here!
Gender: BOY!!
Movement:  Lots of movement continues!  I was just telling Maureen that I can't believe how much this kid moves.  She told me I am feeling it more because this is the second time my uterus has done this and it has stretched and thinned out.  Sounds gross but it must be true because this dude never stops.

Worries: I painted my toenails for a wedding this weekend.  I could do it, but it wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world.  And I am just going to get bigger.  And bigger.  And bigger.

What I'm loving: Pumpkin spice lattes.  I haven't even had one yet, but as soon as I feel the slightest breeze in the air, I am going to treat myself.

Symptoms: Nothing much! Feeling pretty good!

What I'm looking forward to: My best gal pals are coming to visit Friday and I CAN'T WAIT!  We have been on phone restrictions (although we cheated for a second this morning) and have so much to catch up on!
Best moment of the week: The other day I pulled up my shirt and asked Paul if he wanted to feel the baby kicking.  He walked right over to me, pulled my shirt back down and said, "Take a nap baby."  I laughed.  And then became nervous that this brother bonding may not go very well! :)
