Friday Favorties

ONE

Actually this is not my favorite, but Ryan beat everyone last week in our work weight loss challenge.  And I am annoyed.  He lost 8 pounds in one week.  Do you know the agony it takes for me to lose ONE pound?  I do not understand men.  And I am sure I should be supportive and happy for him and blah, blah, blah but COME ON! 

TWO

Charlie is obsessed with anything outside.  We all ate dinner outside last weekend when it was 75 degrees.  Now Charlie wants to do it ALL THE TIME.  Even when it is 45 degrees.  Even when he is all alone.  I love him. 

 THREE 

Last night Ryan played in the faculty vs. student basketball game at school.  At halftime the little boys got to join in the fun.  If you want your heart to swell with the goodness of the world, then combine 18 year olds and 4 and 2 year olds.  It's good stuff.

Shooting It!

Paul showing off his skills!  It always takes him a second to warm up and then he usually won't quit.  That is unless his mom is video taping him.  Then all he wants to do is "See Paul on the phone."

Seriously. Could this kid be a basketball model? Is there such a thing? How serious does he look with his Nike logo and basketball?

Basketball Game.

We took Paul to a basketball game at the high school where we teach. At first, things did not look so favorable. It is very loud in our school's gym- yelling, music, the buzzer, not to mention the provocative dancing by the poms team that can invoke quite the cheers from the male student population. When we walked in Paul cried. Luckily we found some of our friends with their little children and Paul calmed down. He watched the game, screamed "SHOOT" when he thought the players were taking a little long with their dribbling and passing, and ran up and down the bleachers. Cheap entertainment for everyone!
