Paul showing off his skills! It always takes him a second to warm up and then he usually won't quit. That is unless his mom is video taping him. Then all he wants to do is "See Paul on the phone."

This and That
Apologies to the Parents I Judged Four Years Ago -
This is so good and SO TRUE!
5 tough-love principles for making friends with other moms -
This is hard too - especially #3
Are You as Busy as you Think You Are?-
I am nervous to keep my own time log! You?
I had myself a manicure last week and chose Essie Pretty Edgy. I saw it flipping through an In Style, and thought I would try to be hip and cool. I think it looks a little Wicked Witch from the West. Thoughts?
I feel like I've been looking for a denim shirt for a year and I finally found one at my trusty Forever 21. Not really denim, but for 15.80 who can complain?
A month before little man turns 2, we turned his car seat around. His whole life changed with this new perspective and our car rides are so much more entertaining now that he can see every bus and truck that drives by.
The weather has been so nice so we have been able to spend lots of time outside. It is much easier to have a toddler outside then cramped up in the house. I hope this weather lasts!
What have you been up to?

Valentine's Day!
For the last few Valentine's Days, Ryan and I have decided against exchanging gifts and instead go to a nice dinner! This year we traveled downtown where we feasted on crab enchiladas and steaks at Tamayo
Then caught this play:
It was light, funny and mostly accurate and perfect for a date night. It was nice to spend a little time with one another and have dinner without having to entertain a toddler. Ryan took the next day off work so we were able to go story time as a family. Paul was so excited to introduce his Dada to everyone at the library and show off all his tricks (like standing in front of the librarian while she reads so he can help turn the pages). It was a fabulous holiday!

Wow! It has been so long since I've blogged! I always have good intentions, but by the end of the day all I want to do is lay on the couch and watch bad TV. I am going to try and catch up these next few days to share all the fun we have been having. In the meantime, here is sweet Paul loving on his monkey, "EE." He takes this monkey everywhere but sometimes I feel like the love he has for this stuffed animal is a bit intense. H hugs and kisses EE so aggressively, I am afraid the poor monkey could rip in half. I hope he doesn't kiss girls this way.
