Stocking Stuffers

I think the best thing about Christmas is the stocking.  It is fun to find little things that a person would love but probably wouldn't but for themselves.  I even wrap every one of my stocking presents to make the process longer.  I am my mother.

But lets be honest.  Boy stockings are just not as exciting as girl stocking.  It is too bad I have no girls to deal with.  But let me tell you, I will probably win my daughter in-laws over with my stocking stuffing skills one day. #truth

If someone had to (cough, Ryan, cough) put a stocking together for me, here are some suggestions. You are welcome ahead of time.

Is this the cutest thing you have ever seen?

If these don't scream New Year's Eve, I don't know what does!

I love candles because they really mask the dog and boy smell of the house.

This mug would probably make my coffee taste better

If you don't love a monogram, you have big problems!

Wouldn't say no to these beauties

Nail polish is a nice treat!

Everyone loves some cute stationary !

And this cute sign won't fit in my stocking, but it could go right next to it and would look great in my dining room!

There you have it!  Anything you love to put in stockings??

Friday Wishlist Birthday/Christmas Edition

In less than a month I turn 34.  Gasp.  And then it is Christmas.  Gasp Again.  So I think it is time to develop the much anticipated LIST.  Here is what is on my wish list:

I've talked about them with too many people.  It's time to bite the bullet.  Gray Converse.  Size 8

Maureen inspired me with big girl pajamas.  Instead of old yoga pants and a random tee-shirt from 2003 maybe these?  Size Medium and obviously I will wear them just like this gal.

And these cute pink slippers would be a great addition to the pjs outfit :)

I like this neutral table runner.  I could just keep it on the dining room all year long!

I read some reviews of the UP 24 Jawbone and I really want to try it!  Can track your steps and SLEEPING and workouts and calories burned and all that fun stuff!

Pretty sure it is time for a new yoga mat.  I stand firmly my Lululemon's THE MAT and I love the blue color!

Ryan will laugh hysterically because he randomly will fold my laundry and is in shock about how many yoga pants I own.  But I love them.  And these are really cute!

And while we on the subject of yoga, this is super cute!

I think I need a "R" bracelet to add to my P and C!  All the boys on my wrist #adorable

I also told my mom I would like a cordless upright Dustbuster thing.  For my floors.  Like after dinner I could do a quick vacuum of dog hair and food?  But it is such a pain to unwrap the cord and plug it in.  The struggle is real my friends.  Anyway, does this exist?

My dad always likes to get me a book.  I can't wait to read this one!

Plaid and a scarf?  Yes please.

To celebrate the season I also love gift cards to Nordstroms, Lululemon, manicure/pedicures and wine.  LOTS OF WINE.  Or cash. (ha ha)

What is on your list?  Is it too soon to talk about it??

Paul and Charlie- Listen Up!!!

Dear Paul and Charlie,
Remember when I carried you around for 9 months in my belly?  And I only allowed myself one cup of coffee?  And I didn't get to drink any WINE??? Remember when I gave birth to you?  And remember how much I love you and kiss you and think you are the best two dudes in the universe?

To celebrate my dedication to motherhood, I probably need these items from Nordstroms.  Because nothing shows love like clothes and jewelry.

PS- show your dad this list.  I don't want either of you learning to use my credit card just yet.

xo

Countdown to 32

Ever since I hit my thirties, I have had a hard time remembering how old I am.  Am I 29?  33?  47?  I don't know if this is early onset dementia, but it is weird.  However, in about a month I am turning the big 32!  Not that exciting of an age, but a million things to be thankful for!

To celebrate this occasion, I thought I would share what is on my birthday list!  Feel free to send me anything.  Without pause, I will give my address to strangers who promise to send birthday gifts.  I am that trusting.

Of course what I would really love for my late November birthday is a healthy, happy, sleeps a lot, little boy.  He could come a little early and surprise us all for a birthday treat.  Do you hear that little dude????

Otherwise, this is what I have on my wish list:

Miss Dior Perfume!  I received this as a sample awhile ago and I love the scent!  I think perfume is so hard to figure out since it changes smells from the bottle to when it makes contact with your skin.  But this is light and feminine.

Clarasonic Skin Cleaning.  Isn't this so exciting?  When Tori and Maureen came to visit, I discovered they both have one of these.  So it is obvious now that I need to have one.  I like the gray.  Although the jaguar pattern is tempting!

LL Bean Tote.  This has been on my list for awhile because it would be the perfect pool or workout bag (never to early to think about how you will tote all the towels and sunscreen around)!  I would of course need my monogram added!

This cute iphone case!  I have been rocking a polka-dot case for a bit and I think it is time for a change.  And I love the monograms.  Maureen is to blame one hundred percent for new monogram obsession.

The Keurig.  Luckily, Ryan is now obsessed with coffee.  It has improved our marriage 100%.  We are becoming coffee snobs.  We like to stop at Starbucks on our weekends.  This is really a present for the both of us!

And if you are feeling generous, I guess I'll take an ipad.

Or a gift card to Sephora or Lululemon.

Happy Shopping People!

And a happy birthday to one of my oldest and bestest friends, Sarah.  Today is actually her birthday and has a much more valid reason to celebrate!

Dear Paul,

Hey Buddy!
I don't know if you are aware, but Mother's Day is just around the corner.  A time to celebrate me pushing you out of my body without ANY drugs.  Do you remember that?  I sure do.  The memory of that pain has not subsided.  At all.  But I have a little idea.  Something that could possibly ease the image of me throwing up everywhere on the way to the hospital.  It could help erase the fact that you wanted to come out so fast that every single person ignored my pleas for an epidural.  I think this little beauty says, "Hello, Mother.  Thanks for giving me life."  Don't you agree?

Love,
Mom

P.S. Don't forget to tell your dad about this!!
